On the morning of March 1, 2025, at the Youth Union of Hospital 199 of the Ministry of Public Security, in coordination with the Blood Donation Committee of the City Youth Union of Da Nang City, under the support of the Youth Union of the Faculty of Medicine - Duy Tan University, the voluntary blood donation program "Drops of blood of love for beloved comrades" was organized.
Responding to the blood donation program, nearly 200 officers, soldiers and people participated in the program, collecting nearly 200 units of blood. Voluntary blood donation activities are one of the social activities with noble humanitarian significance, regularly organized by the Youth Union of Hospital 199 in coordination with other units.
Senior Lieutenant Le Minh Dien - Youth Union of Hospital 199 (Ministry of Public Security) said: "Donating blood to save people is a noble gesture, thanks to the drops of peach blood imbued with love, carrying that profound humanistic value that patients have blood to treat in time".
This is the first voluntary blood donation program in 2025 in the humanitarian spirit of "A drop of blood given, a life left behind". It is also an opportunity for officers, soldiers, and youth union members to promote the spirit of volunteerism, join hands, and contribute to the community in implementation, contributing to building a beautiful image of the People's Public Security force "Forgetting oneself for the country, serving the people".
