During the service on the ship, the SE8 group discovered and returned assets worth more than 15 million VND to the passenger who left them behind.

At 14:35 on August 21, 2025, while serving on the SE8 train on the Saigon - Hanoi route, train employee Bui Chien Cong discovered a passenger in carriage 6 who had left his belongings behind.

Immediately, Mr. Bui Chien Cong reported to Ship Leader Nguyen Dinh Quy. Through inspection, the ship team recorded assets including 1 Citizen Identification Card, 1 Health Insurance Card under the name Nguyen Thi Nu, more than 15 million VND in cash and a number of documents and personal items. The ship team has made a record, sealed according to regulations and notified to find the owner.

After verifying the information, all assets were fully handed over to passenger Nguyen Thi Nu at Nam Dinh station. After receiving the property, Mrs. Nu was very surprised and grateful for the sense of responsibility of the staff working on the ship. Without this dedication, I would have encountered many difficulties when losing my documents and money, Ms. Nu emotionally shared.

According to Ship around Committee Nguyen Dinh Quy, preserving and returning assets to passengers is a responsibility and also a joy for the collective. "Each passenger's peace of mind and satisfaction on the journey is a motivation for railway staff to strive to serve better," Mr. Quy affirmed.
