Man returns 300 million found while exercising

    While exercising, a man in Lao Cai City picked up a handbag containing 300 million VND and brought it to the police station to report and return it to the owner.

    Accordingly, at around 5:30 p.m. on October 15, Mr. Phung Van Hieu (born in 1986, residing in Lao Cai City, Lao Cai Province) was walking for exercise on Khuc Thua Du Street, Kim Thanh Border Gate (in Duyen Hai Ward) and picked up a red handbag, inside were some documents bearing the name of Luc Thi Dung (born in 1964, residing in Bao Thang District) and 300 million VND in cash. Afterwards, Mr. Hieu went to Duyen Hai Ward Police to report the incident.

    After receiving the information, Duyen Hai Ward Police contacted Ms. Luc Thi Dung to verify the above assets.

    Working with the authorities, Mr. Truong Quoc Minh - Mrs. Dung's husband - said that at that time, he was riding his motorbike from home to the Kim Thanh border gate area when he dropped his wife's bag, which contained personal documents and 300 million VND.

    After completing the procedures, Duyen Hai Ward Police coordinated with local authorities and Mr. Phung Van Hieu to return the property to the person who lost it.
