In recent days, prolonged heavy rains have caused many localities in the Central and Central Highlands to be deeply flooded, the lives of thousands of households falling into difficulty and deprivation. Faced with these losses, the spirit of "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves" of the Vietnamese people was once again strongly aroused. Many volunteer groups and individuals have proactively set up donation points and called for emergency support for people in flooded areas.
At the relief point at 10 Nguyen Nhu Uyen (Hanoi), the family of Mr. Nguyen Minh Duc, Tu Liem ward, brought hundreds of boxes of instant noodles, milk, cakes and dry food. Unlike previous donations, this time, Mr. Duc wants to directly send the most practical necessities to the people.
"My family has prepared 200 boxes of instant noodles, 120 boxes of milk, 10 boxes of rice cakes and 50 boxes of dry food. We just hope to contribute a small part to help people stabilize their lives soon," Mr. Duc shared.

Following continuous flood information on social networks, Ms. Uyen Phuong (Cau Giay ward) also went to the reception point to contribute. On this occasion, Uyen Phuong bought 200 cakes and sent more money to the Vietnam Fatherland Front to help people in flooded areas.
"I can't handle how much I eat, so I want to share with the people in the most difficult times," Ms. Uyen Phuong shared.
As the person who directly supports the classification of goods and prepares for the relief bus, Mr. Nguyen Kim Chung said that every day the reception point welcomes more people to support. From young people to the elderly, whoever has contributed anything, the warm and sincere atmosphere makes everyone in the volunteer group even more determined.
Ms. Kim Thi Thanh - co-founder of the Tam Tu Bi volunteer group - said that the group started calling for help on November 23 and immediately received a wide response. Goods are carefully classified including rice, instant noodles, milk, medicine, clothes, etc.

According to the plan, on November 28, the convoy will depart from Hanoi to Dak Lak, supporting the three communes of Tuy An Tay, Tuy An Dong and Tuy An Bac.
"We prioritize the most urgent necessities, especially rice and noodles. The goal is to give at least 500 gifts to people in flooded areas, said Ms. Thanh.
The long trips from Hanoi to the flood center not only bring food but also the heart of the people of the capital, accompanying the Central region and the Central Highlands to overcome difficult times and soon stabilize their lives.
