On the afternoon of November 25, the Office of the National Civil Defense Steering Committee had information about the damage caused by rain and floods in the Central provinces.
Accordingly, as of 5:30 p.m. on November 25, floods have left 108 people dead and missing. Of which, 98 people died (Quang Tri: 1; Hue: 2; Da Nang: 2; Gia Lai: 3; Dak Lak: 63; Khanh Hoa: 22. Lam Dong: 5); 10 people are missing (Da Nang: 2; Dak Lak: 8). Floods also injured 25 people (Da Nang: 4, Khanh Hoa: 20, Gia Lai: 1).
Regarding housing, floods caused 413 houses to collapse (Quang Ngai: 9; Gia Lai: 103; Dak Lak: 120; Khanh Hoa: 105; Lam Dong: 76); 2,063 houses were damaged (Quang Tri: 3; Da Nang: 46; Quang Ngai: 71; Gia Lai: 107; Dak Lak: 178; Khanh Hoa: 909; Lam Dong: 749).
202,567 houses were flooded (Gia Lai: 20,775; Dak Lak 150,000; Khanh Hoa 30,655; Lam Dong: 1,137). Currently, Dak Lak province still has 4 communes, Lam Dong province still has 105 flooded households.
The report said that during the day, the Ministry of National Defense mobilized 42,288 officers and soldiers (20,482 soldiers, 21,806 militia and self-defense forces) to participate in overcoming the consequences of floods.
The Ministry of National Defense has also mobilized 1,286 vehicles of all kinds (832 cars, 133 boats, 73 special vehicles, 2 flycams, 13 pumps, 11 generators, 3 service dogs, 219 other vehicles) to help people in Dak Lak, Gia Lai, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong provinces clean and sanitize 2,419 houses, 186 schools, 44 medical stations, 114 government headquarters, 222km of traffic roads, 3 pagodas, 1 market;

The authorities also transported 50.5 tons of food and necessities; supported 3,000 sets of clothes, 4,000 basins, 600 meals, 30 boxes of drinking water, 221 million VND; disinfected 1,378 domestic water wells, 133 hectares of areas, provided 24m3 of clean water, unloaded 33 tons of goods, transported 435m3 tons of garbage, built 0.5km of traffic roads, dredged, and repaired 2.4km of canals.
Regarding the natural disaster situation, the Office of the National Civil Defense Steering Committee also has information about the tropical depression near the East Sea.
According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 1:00 p.m. on November 25, the center of the tropical depression (ATND) was at about 10.40 degrees North latitude, 121.30 degrees East longitude, in the western sea area of the central Philippines. The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression is level 7 (50-61km/h), gusting to level 9. Moving in the West Northwest direction at a speed of about 30km/h.
