Medical staff report to police to return 440 million VND mistakenly transferred by others

Quang Tri - Medical staff of Bac Quang Tri General Hospital discovered 440 million VND into an account and reported it to the police to return to the person who transferred it by mistake.

On January 20, Mr. Nguyen Viet Thai - Director of Bac Quang Tri General Hospital said that hospital staff had just asked Ba Don Ward Police to support verifying and returning 440 million VND to the person who mistakenly transferred it to a personal account.

According to Mr. Thai, after discovering that the bank account was suddenly added a large amount of money, this employee proactively reported to the police, requesting to find the wrong transferee to return it.

We have grasped the information and are making a proposal to reward this kind and honest action," Mr. Thai said.

The person who received the wrong money transfer was Ms. Le Thi Phuong, an employee of the hospital's Infectious Disease Control Department. Immediately upon discovering the incident, Ms. Phuong went to the police headquarters to report and ask for support to verify the person who transferred the wrong money.

Ba Don Ward Police then instructed Ms. Phuong to work with the Bank where she opened the account to carry out the transfer procedures.

The bank has supported the correct identification of the account number and the account holder mistakenly transferred it, ensuring the full return of 440 million VND according to regulations.
