On the afternoon of March 14, Binh Thuan Ward Police (Lam Dong) said that the unit had just coordinated with Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hoang, residing in the locality, to complete procedures to return property to the person who dropped it.
The person who received the property back is Ms. Phan Duy Cam Phuong, residing in Ham Thang ward (Lam Dong).
Previously, when going to work through Dai Thien 1 neighborhood (Binh Thuan ward), Mr. Hoang picked up a handbag dropped on the roadside.
After picking it up, he checked and discovered inside 29.5 million VND and many personal papers in the name of Phan Duy Cam Phuong.
Immediately after that, Mr. Hoang brought the bag to the Binh Thuan Ward Police headquarters to hand it over, asking for support in verifying the person who dropped it to return it.
After receiving the information, Binh Thuan Ward Police proceeded to verify and contacted the owner of the bag. At the police headquarters, Ms. Phuong was returned all her assets and personal papers.
Receiving back the handbag along with the money and important papers, Ms. Phuong expressed her emotion and thanked Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hoang as well as the Binh Thuan Ward Police force for supporting the search for the lost property.
According to Binh Thuan Ward Police, the unit is completing the dossier proposing the Ward People's Committee to commend and reward Mr. Hoang's beautiful action.
