Ha Tinh - Account receiving 300 million VND transferred from a stranger, a woman in Cam Lac commune returned it to the wrong sender.

On the morning of February 5th, Cam Lac Commune Police said that the unit had just coordinated to verify and help a citizen receive back 300 million VND after mistakenly transferring money.

Accordingly, receiving a request for coordination from the Hanoi City Police regarding supporting citizen Do Minh Son (born in 1984, residing in Ngoc Ha ward, Hanoi City) to receive money back after mistakenly transferring 300 million VND to an account in the name of Luong Thi Canh in Cam Lac commune.

Immediately after that, Cam Lac Commune Police reviewed, verified and identified the account holder who received 300 million VND transferred by mistake from Mr. Son as Ms. Luong Thi Canh, residing in Phuc Son village, Cam Lac commune.

According to Ms. Canh, her account is rarely used, so she did not know that strangers had mistakenly transferred money to her.

After that, Cam Lac Commune Police coordinated with a bank branch in Ha Tinh to organize a working session and witnessed Ms. Canh return 300 million VND to Mr. Son.
