On November 8, the Trieu Co Commune Police (Quang Tri Province) said that the unit had verified and returned the property to the person who dropped it.
Previously, on the afternoon of November 6, Trieu Co Commune Police received from Ms. Pham Thi Huyen (residing in Dong Van Village, Trieu Co Commune) a black handbag picked up by her child on the road. Inside the bag were more than 3 million VND in cash and many gold jewelry such as necklaces, rings, earrings.
Immediately after receiving the report, the police force conducted an inspection, verification and widely reported to find the owner.
Through verification, the person who dropped it was identified as Ms. Truong Thi K. (residing in Huong Hiep commune, Quang Tri province).
Trieu Co Commune Police contacted and organized the handover of all assets to Ms. K. in accordance with regulations.
The owner of the property expressed his gratitude to the police and people for their honest and beautiful actions.
