Cao Bang - Many charity groups are joining hands to care for poor patients from the charity porridge pot model.

On June 21, the Compassionate Porridge Pot Group in coordination with the Cao Bang Connecting Hearts Club organized to cook and distribute free porridge to patients and their families who are being treated at Cao Bang Provincial General Hospital.

At the program, members presented more than 200 hot porridge portions directly to patients and their families.

The porridge portions are prepared to ensure nutrition, food safety and hygiene, contributing to supporting patients during treatment.

This is a regular charity activity maintained with the desire to share difficulties and add motivation for patients to feel secure in their treatment.

Not only bringing free meals, the program also spreads the spirit of mutual affection, the community's concern for disadvantaged circumstances.

Currently, the Compassionate Porridge Group is maintaining operations at 3 medical facilities in Cao Bang province.

In which, a pot of porridge is distributed on Sunday mornings every week at the Provincial General Hospital; a porridge distribution point at Bao Lac District Health Center with more than 100 servings each time.

The program is implemented in coordination with the Youth Union of Ha Lang District Health Center, contributing to expanding the network of patient support at medical examination and treatment facilities in the province.
