At noon on May 8, functional agencies of Lam Dong province are examining the scene to investigate the cause of a traffic accident between a car and an electric bicycle that injured a female student.
The accident happened at about 11:20 am on the same day on Ly Thuong Kiet street, Ward 1, Bao Loc (Lam Dong). Many people joined forces to lift the car to rescue the female student and take her to the hospital for emergency treatment.
According to initial information, a car with license plate 49A-829. 94 driven by Mr. Dau Thanh Thu (58 years old, residing in Ward 1, Bao Loc) was traveling on Ly Thuong Kiet street in the direction of the center of Ward 1, Bao Loc.
When arriving at the intersection with Hoang Van Thu street, the car collided with an electric bicycle driven by T.G.A (9th grade student), carrying her younger sister T.N. M. A (8th grade student).
The collision caused T.N. M. A to be trapped under the car, and the older brother was thrown out, only suffering minor scratches.
Immediately after the accident, more than 10 passersby joined forces to lift the car to take the female student out and transfer her to Lam Dong Hospital II for emergency treatment.
According to doctors, the female student was admitted to the hospital with a broken femur and is being further checked for related injuries.
It is known that at the time of the accident, the two brothers were on their way home from school.
After the accident occurred, functional agencies were present at the scene to regulate traffic and investigate and clarify the cause.
