On April 15, Gia Lai Provincial Police are clarifying a serious traffic accident on the Ho Chi Minh road, the Pleiku bypass section.
According to initial information, the accident occurred at about 9 am on April 15 at Km 16+800 Ho Chi Minh road, Pleiku bypass, belonging to Ia Tong village, Ia Hrung commune.
At the above time, Mr. Nguyen Duy Hung (born in 1983, residing in Ninh Binh province) was driving a sleeper bus with license plate 35H-043. xx, traveling on the bypass road in the direction from Bau Can commune to Chu Pah commune.
When arriving at the above location, the sleeper bus collided with a motorbike with license plate 81V1-070. xx driven by Ms. K.A. (born 1990, residing in Blang 3 village, Ia Hrung commune), traveling from a branch road to a bypass road.
The accident killed Ms. A. on the spot, and the two vehicles were heavily damaged. Initial inspection determined that Mr. Hung had no alcohol concentration and was negative for drugs.
The Pleiku bypass has few vehicles passing through, often intersecting with branch roads into residential areas and fields of local people, so it poses a high risk of traffic accidents.
Currently, the case is being investigated and clarified by the police agency.
