On April 20, Gia Lai Provincial Police said they are urgently investigating and clarifying a serious traffic accident that left 2 people dead and injured on National Highway 25, the section through Chu Se Pass.
According to initial information, the accident occurred at about 4:20 pm on April 19 at Km 156+100 on National Highway 25, passing through Thanh Thuong village, Chu A Thai commune.
At the above time, Mr. Tran Van Hoa (born 1993, residing in Phu Tuc commune) was driving a tractor-trailer with license plate 81A-559. xx traveling in the direction from Ia Hru commune to Phu Thien commune.
When reaching the above location, the tractor-trailer collided with a motorbike with license plate 81S1-224. xx, the driver has not been identified, traveling in the opposite direction.
On the motorbike were Mr. S.N. (born 1970) and Mr. R.W. (born 1987), both residing in Chu Puh commune. The accident injured 2 victims, who were taken to Phu Thien Medical Center for emergency treatment. Mr. N. later died.
After the accident occurred, Road Traffic Police Team No. 1 (Traffic Police Department, Provincial Police) coordinated with Chu A Thai Commune Police to protect the scene and ensure traffic on Chu Se Pass.
The Office of the Investigation Police Agency, the Criminal Technical Department (Provincial Police) and related units are examining the scene, collecting evidence to verify and clarify.
