While moving in the direction from Lao Cai to Hanoi, a car with license plate 24C-111.xx driven by a police major crashed into a barrier on the route.
The initial cause was determined to be that the vehicle caused an accident on its own when traveling through the area under repair.
At the time of the accident, this area was being repaired and upgraded by functional units, with traffic diversion barriers arranged. The strong collision caused the front of the car to be shattered, and the front wheel to explode. The victim died on the spot, trapped in the car.
