Prolonged humidity also has a significant impact on the quality of life.In many rows of houses, the way to the second floor is extremely narrow.Stairs and walls are covered with moss, becoming slippery every time it rains, posing a potential safety risk for the elderly and young children.One of the biggest inconveniences is that many households still have to use shared toilets. Residents living here said that the scene of people queuing to wait for their turn to use toilets has become a familiar image.Inside a degraded and dusty house in Truong Dinh apartment complex.Ms. Vu Thi Ly (80 years old, residing in Truong Dinh collective housing), said that her family still has to share a kitchen with three other households. Living conditions are inconvenient, but most residents are low-income workers, so they want to be resettled on the spot when the renovation project is implemented. According to residents, this is a solution to help them stabilize their lives and continue to be attached to the place where they have lived for decades.
Regarding this collective housing area, Tuong Mai Ward People's Committee has publicly announced the Master Plan for the area of renovation, reconstruction and reconstruction of Truong Dinh collective housing, surrounding areas and connecting axes, scale 1/500.
According to the plan, the total land area of the planned area is about 14,600m2. The land area planned for the renovation, reconstruction and reconstruction of Truong Dinh collective housing area is about 13,700m2; the land area for opening roads connecting to the Set River and Truong Dinh road is more than 890m2.
