    Quang Ninh - On November 1, 2024, the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the establishment of Dong Trieu city in Quang Ninh province will officially take effect.

    Dong Trieu City is located at the western gateway of Quang Ninh Province, bordering Bac Giang Province, Hai Duong Province and Hai Phong City. The "Provincial Gate" (pictured) is designed with a steel frame with 8 main columns ranging in height from 38 to 43 meters, with an investment capital of 198 billion VND.

This is also a part of the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son, Kiep Bac relic complex which is being proposed by UNESCO to be recognized as a World Heritage Site. From 2016 to April 2024, the Tran Dynasty National Special Historical Relic Site welcomed over 1.7 million visitors.
