    Hoa Lu Festival 2026 recreates a sacred space, honors the merits of King Dinh, King Le and spreads traditional cultural values.

    Tháng Tư, vùng đất Cố đô Ninh Bình rộn ràng trong không khí linh thiêng và náo nức của Lễ hội Hoa Lư truyền thống. Diễn ra từ 25.4 đến 27.4 (tức 9.3 đến 11.3 năm Bính Ngọ) tại Khu di tích quốc gia đặc biệt Cố đô Hoa Lư và một số địa điểm thuộc phường Hoa Lư, lễ hội là dịp kết nối hiện tại với quá khứ, nhắc nhớ công lao dựng nước, giữ nước của các bậc Tiên đế triều Đinh, Tiền Lê.
    April, the ancient capital of Ninh Binh is bustling in the sacred and exciting atmosphere of the traditional Hoa Lu Festival. Taking place from April 25 to April 27 (ie March 9 to 11 of the 3rd year of Binh Ngo) at the Special National Relic Site of the Ancient Capital of Hoa Lu and some locations in Hoa Lu ward, the festival is an opportunity to connect the present with the past, reminding of the merits of building and defending the country of the Dinh and Tien Le dynasties.     Ngay từ sáng sớm, dòng người đã đổ về khu vực đền thờ vua Đinh, vua Lê. Không chỉ hòa mình vào không khí lễ hội, người dân và du khách còn tham gia nhiều trò chơi dân gian, hoạt động trải nghiệm đặc sắc. Trong tiếng trống chiêng vang vọng, đoàn rước kiệu uy nghi tiến qua sân đền cổ kính, tạo nên khung cảnh trang trọng, đậm bản sắc văn hóa.

    Bà Nguyễn Thị Thoa (69 tuổi, phường Tây Hoa Lư), tham gia đoàn rước kiệu, chia sẻ: “Tôi tham gia nhiều năm nhưng năm nào cũng xúc động, tự hào. Đây không chỉ là hoạt động lễ hội mà còn là dịp con cháu tưởng nhớ công lao các vua Đinh, vua Lê, gìn giữ truyền thống quê hương”.

    Điểm nhấn của lễ hội năm nay là các tiết mục nghệ thuật dân gian giàu ý nghĩa. Múa rồng gây ấn tượng mạnh, tái hiện biểu tượng linh thiêng gắn với truyền thuyết Lạc Long Quân - Âu Cơ, gửi gắm ước vọng mưa thuận gió hòa, cuộc sống ấm no. Bên cạnh đó, nhiều hoạt động văn hóa, thể thao truyền thống diễn ra sôi nổi như chọi gà, đấu vật, đi cà kheo, thu hút đông đảo người dân và du khách.

    Năm 2014, Lễ hội Hoa Lư được Bộ Văn hóa, Thể thao và Du lịch đưa vào Danh mục Di sản văn hóa phi vật thể cấp quốc gia. Sự ghi nhận này khẳng định giá trị lịch sử, văn hóa của lễ hội, đồng thời mở ra cơ hội để Ninh Bình tiếp tục bảo tồn, phát huy di sản gắn với phát triển du lịch, quảng bá hình ảnh Cố đô tới bạn bè trong nước và quốc tế. Giữa sắc cờ hoa rực rỡ tháng Tư, Lễ hội Hoa Lư 2026 trở thành bản hòa ca của lịch sử và hiện tại, góp phần bồi đắp tình yêu, niềm tự hào về những giá trị văn hóa ngàn đời của dân tộc.
    In 2014, Hoa Lu Festival was included by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in the List of National Intangible Cultural Heritage. This recognition affirms the historical and cultural values of the festival, and at the same time opens up opportunities for Ninh Binh to continue to preserve and promote heritage associated with tourism development, promoting the image of the Ancient Capital to domestic and international friends.
