    On the evening of January 31 (the 3rd day of Tet), Tuan Giao district, Dien Bien province opened the district's Cultural, Sports and Tourism Festival 2025.

    The parade had the theme "Ethnic groups of Tuan Giao district unite to move forward" to demonstrate the spirit of solidarity, preserve traditional culture and the path of restructuring the district's agricultural sector with two key tasks of planting, caring for and developing macadamia and coffee trees.

    Participating in the parade, Ms. Lo Thi Thim (50 years old, Thai ethnic group, Chieng Sinh commune, Tuan Giao district) excitedly said: “I feel extremely proud to participate in the street cultural parade today. The feeling of being able to join everyone singing and dancing is like being young again.”

    “Coming to the festival, people and tourists can immerse themselves in a street cultural parade with an unprecedented scale of participating actors. They can enjoy the excitement and diversity of xoe (soa dance), sap (sap dance) and khen (panpipe) sounds,” said the Chairman of Tuan Giao District People’s Committee.

    The 2025 Tuan Giao District Cultural, Sports and Tourism Festival will take place until February 1 (the 4th day of Tet).
