    Nằm ở phường Dương Nỗ, cách trung tâm Huế chưa đầy 10km, làng Thanh Tiên nép mình bên hạ lưu sông Hương, nổi tiếng với nghề làm hoa giấy có tuổi đời hơn ba thế kỷ.
    Located in Duong No ward, less than 10km from the center of Hue, Thanh Tien village nestles downstream of the Perfume River, famous for its paper flower making craft that is more than three centuries old.
    Điểm đặc trưng của hoa giấy Thanh Tiên là toàn bộ quy trình đều làm thủ công. Từ khâu chọn giấy, vót nan tre, phơi tre, pha màu đến tạo gân, uốn cánh… mọi thao tác đều dựa vào đôi tay và kinh nghiệm của nghệ nhân.

    Ông Trần Phú (64 tuổi), nghệ nhân có hơn 40 năm gắn bó với nghề cho biết gia đình ông đã ba đời làm hoa giấy. “Nghề này cần sự kiên trì, tỉ mỉ. Làm nhanh không được, mà thu nhập cũng bấp bênh nên lớp trẻ ít theo”, ông chia sẻ.
