In that common picture full of faith, the role and responsibility of workers and laborers becomes even more prominent. Because all strategies, resolutions, and directives will be fully realized by the hands, minds, and sense of responsibility of tens of millions of workers across the country.
Since the country gained independence in the autumn of 1945 and especially since entering the Doi Moi (Renovation) campaign until now, after 40 years, the working class has always been the leading force in production, in the application of science and technology, in digital transformation and international integration.
The 14th National Party Congress takes place in the context of the country setting a goal of rapid and sustainable growth, based on science and technology, innovation and digital economy. This requires a workforce that is not only skilled but also politically steadfast, understands the law, has an industrial style, discipline and a high sense of responsibility.
It is impossible to talk about the aspiration for development if each worker has not asked themselves: What has been done best for the business, for the collective, for the country today?
At the beginning of 2026, Directive No. 58-CT/TW of the Secretariat on strengthening the Party's leadership over propaganda, political and ideological education, and law for workers in the new situation clearly stated: Political and ideological education is a regular and long-term task in building a modern and strong working class.
That means, today's workers not only do well in their profession but also must clearly understand the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws; improve their ability to identify false information, and not be dragged or incited to affect labor relations and social order.
That responsibility is first and foremost the responsibility of citizens. Each worker needs to proactively study, participate in propaganda sessions, dialogues, improve legal understanding; boldly participate in collective bargaining, supervise law enforcement at enterprises. When understanding the law, workers know how to protect themselves, and at the same time contribute to building a harmonious, stable and progressive working environment.
The new Spring is also the season of beginnings, of new commitments. In the "Good Labor, Creative Labor" movement, each technical innovation initiative, each material saving proposal, and each solution to improve production efficiency are practical contributions to common development.
Responsibility for productivity is also responsibility for our own income. If businesses develop sustainably, jobs will be stable, and workers' lives will be improved. The interests of workers and the interests of businesses and the country are inseparable.
Spring is also the season of solidarity. The 14th National Congress of the Party, the new term Vietnam Trade Union Congress, the election of the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels... are opportunities for workers to show their rights and civic responsibilities.
Participating in building a strong Fatherland Front and Trade Union organization, actively contributing opinions, participating in supervision and responsible criticism, in the spirit of building with the Party and State's guidelines and policies is also a way for workers to contribute to shaping the future of the country.
That responsibility is also reflected in building a worker culture: civilized behavior, respect for labor discipline, support for colleagues, participation in social and charity activities. A developed society is not only based on GDP but also on human quality, community spirit and discipline.
Spring is the moment of faith. Workers who are working day and night throughout the country believe in the right development path established at the 14th National Congress; believe in the strength of solidarity; believe in themselves to create a solid foundation for the country to accelerate, break through, and firmly step into a new era.
