In order to ensure the demand for medicine to serve health care for people during the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, the Hanoi Department of Health has just issued a document announcing the list of retail drug establishments organizing direct drug sales in the city.
Accordingly, based on reports and registrations of units, the whole city has 234 retail drug stores participating in direct drug sales during Tet, including 40 pharmacies under hospitals directly under the Hanoi Department of Health and 194 private pharmacies distributed in districts, towns, and cities.
The list is published in detail according to each commune and ward, with full information about the name of the pharmacy, pharmacist in charge of expertise, address, contact phone number and specific operating hours during Tet. The public disclosure of the list aims to help people easily look up and access medicine sources in a timely manner, especially in urgent situations.
Hanoi Department of Health said that organizing drug sales is one of the important solutions to ensure stable and continuous drug supply, meeting the treatment and disease prevention needs of people during holidays and Tet.
Previously, on January 15, 2026, the Hanoi Department of Health issued document No. 470/SYT-NVD on ensuring drug supply during the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026. This document requires hospitals under the Department, as well as businesses with retail drug systems, to proactively develop drug reserve plans and organize drug sales on duty according to regulations.
The synchronous implementation of the above measures demonstrates the proactiveness of the Capital's health sector in caring for and protecting people's health, contributing to people celebrating Tet safely and healthily.
