1. Don't drink on an empty stomach

According to Healthline, drinking lemon water on an empty stomach, especially early in the morning, can irritate the stomach lining, leading to heartburn or stomach pain. People with digestive diseases should drink it after snacking to avoid intestinal damage.

2. Dilute, do not use too much

According to the American Dental Association, lemon water is rich in citric acid, which can erode tooth enamel if consumed too much or too often. Experts recommend diluting lemon juice with at least 200ml of filtered water, and can use a straw to limit direct contact with teeth.

3. Combined with a scientific diet and exercise

Drinking lemon water only supports metabolism and eliminates toxins, it cannot replace a balanced diet and regular exercise.
