1. Bath with oatmeal
Ingredient:
- 250 grams of rolled oats
- A piece of cheesecloth or fine mesh sieve
- Put the rolled oats in a blender or food processor and blend into a fine powder.
- Fill the bathtub with warm water.
- Pour the ground oats into a cheesecloth or strainer and tie it tightly. Place the bag in the bath and let the oats soak into the water.
- Soak in an oatmeal bath for 15 - 20 minutes.
- After soaking, gently pat skin dry with a soft towel.
2. Apply coconut oil
Apply a small amount of coconut oil directly to the affected area and gently massage it into the skin. You can use coconut oil as a moisturizer during the day or at night.
3. Apply aloe vera gel
Gently apply aloe vera gel directly to dry, itchy skin. Massage until fully absorbed. Allow gel to dry naturally before applying any other products.
4. Skin care with shea butter
Ingredient:
- 60ml shea butter
- 60ml coconut oil
- 30ml beeswax
- 15ml vitamin E oil
- Essential oils of your choice
Making:
- Melt the shea butter, coconut oil and beeswax together in a double boiler or heatproof bowl, stirring occasionally.
- Once the ingredients are completely melted, remove the bowl from the heat and stir in the vitamin E oil.
- If you want, you can add a few drops of your favorite essential oil for fragrance.
- Pour the mixture into a clean jar or container.
- Let the cream cool completely before using.
How to use:
- Apply a small amount of shea butter cream to dry, itchy skin and massage gently.
- You can use this cream as a daily moisturizer.
Note
- Do not use the products if you are allergic to ingredients such as coconut or oats. Stop using if you do not feel the effect.
- If dry skin is related to underlying medical conditions such as diabetes, chronic kidney failure or thyroid disorders, consult your doctor.
- Patients undergoing radiation therapy or medical treatment should consult a specialist before starting natural therapies to treat dry skin.
