The hospital said that the pediatric patients after treatment have all stabilized and been discharged.
One of the notable cases is that a child has umbilical cord hernia accompanied by the existence of the uvula.
The baby was born on August 2 and was transferred to Khanh Hoa General Hospital after about 2 hours.
At the hospital, with the coordination between the Department of Pediatrics and the Department of General Surgery, doctors determined that the child had umbilical hernia accompanied by the existence of the uvula.
According to information from the hospital, this defect is easily confused with abdominal defects (omphalocele) because they all have membranes covering the umbilical cord.
