To maintain an active lifestyle, avoid sitting for long periods of time and try to limit sitting for more than 30 minutes at a time. Sitting for long periods of time can lead to chronic diseases and impaired physical function.
3. Reduce time spent using electronic devices
Limit time spent using the phone, watching TV, and playing video games. Using electronic devices for too long can lead to a slow metabolism and stiff joints and muscles.
4. Listen to your body
You should pay attention to your body's signals and rest or change activities as needed to avoid exhaustion and injury.
5. Eat well
Eating a variety of healthy foods is important for maintaining an active lifestyle. You must eat enough carbohydrates to stay active throughout your workout session. In addition, include whole grains, fruits and vegetables, as well as milk, yogurt and cheese, lean meat, fish, eggs, nuts and beans in your daily diet.
6. Drink enough water
Water helps regulate many functions in our body. It helps replenish electrolytes, improve digestion, metabolism and remove toxins from the body. Drinking enough water is key to staying active.
