On July 25, the Central Highlands General Hospital (Dak Lak province) said that the unit is actively treating a child with severe bee stings, causing damage to many areas of the body.
Previously, at noon on July 21, T.T.S (7 years old, residing in Dak Mil commune, Lam Dong province) followed his parents to work in the fields. While playing alone, the child was suddenly attacked by a herd of bees of unknown type, burning all over his body.
Discovering the incident, the family immediately took the child to the Cu cut District Medical Center for emergency treatment. Here, doctors determined that the child had about 200 bee stings. There were scars in the head and eyes areas that were particularly dangerous.
After receiving first aid with fluids and antibiotics, the patient was transferred to the Central Highlands General Hospital for further treatment.
At the hospital, doctors diagnosed the child with bee stings, causing secondary infection and damage to the cornea of the right eye. When admitted to the hospital, the child was in pain, his face and eyes were swollen.
Through an in-depth examination, the doctor discovered that there was still a poison in the child's eye. The trunk was removed in time to avoid causing more serious damage.
