At the second session, held on July 24, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council carried out personnel work according to its authority. The session introduced personnel to be elected to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.
The person introduced is Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.
The vote counting results showed that 183/184 delegates present voted unanimously to elect Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee. The resolution approving the vote counting results was approved by delegates immediately.
