Regarding the case of Phuc Thien Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (hereinafter referred to as Phuc Thien Company) committing fraud in drug bidding that Lao Dong Newspaper has reported, on July 7, Cho Ray Hospital officially took action to handle Phuc Thien Company.
Accordingly, in addition to terminating two signed contracts, Cho Ray Hospital also confiscated more than 105 million VND of contract implementation guarantee money.
Cho Ray Hospital also decided to ban Phuc Thien Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company from participating in bidding activities for all bidding packages invested by the hospital for a period of 3 years, from the date the decision takes effect.
The handling is carried out after a review process, considering recommendations related to signs of violations of contractors in the process of participating in bidding.
Cho Ray Hospital also assigned the hospital's Bidding Unit to report and publish the results of contractor violation handling in accordance with the law, and at the same time assigned relevant units to organize the implementation and enforcement of the decision.
Previously, Phuc Thien Company also participated in bidding at Thong Nhat Hospital and was discovered to have committed fraud when putting the name of a lost employee on the list of employees prioritized according to the Bidding Law in the bidding dossier. Therefore, Thong Nhat Hospital issued a decision to handle violations, confiscating nearly 272 million VND of contract performance guarantee money from Phuc Thien Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company.
At the same time, the hospital terminated the drug supply contract signed with Phuc Thien Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company; Banned enterprises from participating in bidding activities for all drug packages belonging to projects and procurement estimates invested by Thong Nhat Hospital for a period of 3 years from the date the decision takes effect.
