On December 28, Ben Tre Provincial People's Committee coordinated with relevant units to organize the groundbreaking ceremony of Ben Tre Provincial General Hospital project.
Attending the groundbreaking ceremony were Ms. Tran Thi Kim Hoa - Deputy Head of Department VIII of the Central Inspection Committee, Ms. Ho Thi Hoang Yen - Acting Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the People's Council of Ben Tre province, Mr. Tran Thanh Lam - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Tran Ngoc Tam - Chairman of the Ben Tre Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Truc Son - Standing Vice Chairman of the Ben Tre Provincial People's Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Ben Tre province.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Park Jinho - General Director of Handong Engineering and Construction Joint Stock Company promised that the unit is determined to build a hospital that is not only beautiful but also meets medical and convenience standards, serving the people of Ben Tre province in the best way. At the same time, he committed to completing the project on schedule, ensuring that the project is put into use as planned, bringing practical and timely benefits to the community.
Previously in 2015, the People's Committee of Ben Tre province issued Decision No. 1594 approving the content of the investment project document for the construction of Ben Tre General Hospital (Ben Tre General Hospital project) using preferential loans from the Korean Government. The project has a total investment of more than 1,658 billion VND, of which the preferential credit loan to support the development of the Korean Government for the project is more than 1,331 billion VND. The project implementation location is in Binh Phu commune (Ben Tre city, Ben Tre province).
This project has been approved by the Prime Minister to extend the loan agreement disbursement period until December 31, 2026.
According to the investigation of Lao Dong Newspaper reporter, Handong Engineering and Construction Joint Stock Company has won the bid for the construction package of Ben Tre General Hospital project, with a price of more than 879 billion VND.
