On November 30, Mr. Nguyen Van Danh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Dam commune, Quang Ngai province, said that an accident had just occurred in the area, injuring 13 students.
Accordingly, a farm vehicle carrying glue was parked on the slope when a group of enthusiastic students climbed onto the motorbike to play in a corner. At this time, the truck carrying a tree suspected of being lost, crashed into a slope, causing a group of children on the truck to fall and had to be taken to the hospital for emergency care.
According to Mr. Danh, immediately after the accident, the children were taken to the hospital for timely treatment and their health is now stable. Among the victims was the child of the farm vehicle owner. The children were enthusiastic and climbed onto the car when the owner was stopping, leading to the unfortunate accident.
Regarding the incident, Quang Ngai General Hospital, the unit that received emergency care for 13 injured students. Upon admission, the hospital activated the "red alert" process, mobilizing many specialized departments to quickly classify and treat wounds.
Patients were admitted to the hospital with multiple injuries to their limbs, torso, head, face, and some cases of traumatic brain injury. Thanks to timely emergency care, all 13 students have overcome the critical condition; 1 case was transferred by the family, the remaining students continue to be monitored and treated at the hospital.
