Information from Tri Nam Digital Transport Joint Stock Company - the unit implementing public bicycle services in Hanoi said that from tomorrow (December 1), this unit will bring public electric bicycles to serve the people.
Accordingly, on December 1, Tri Nam Digital Transport Joint Stock Company will arrange 10 electric bicycles located at the public bicycle station in the 19/8 flower garden area (near the Hanoi Opera House) for people to experience.
It is expected that from December 2, this unit will continue to bring bicycles to other stations in Hanoi, officially putting this type of bicycle into service for people.
A representative of Tri Nam Digital Transport Joint Stock Company said that the electric bicycle included in this pilot has a maximum speed of 25km/h. Each vehicle is equipped with a helmet. The vehicle has a load capacity of 135kg, so it can carry additional children behind.
In addition, there is a place to store things for customers while still keeping their feet comfortable. The vehicle travels a maximum distance of 90km/ once the battery is charged.
The expected rental price of electric bicycles is 20,000 VND/30 minutes and 35,000 VND/60 minutes. Long-term tenants will enjoy many incentives and discounts.
People need to download and install the TNgo application to experience the service.
"We expect the service to be supported by the people. The unit will take note of customer feedback to make appropriate adjustments," informed a representative of Tri Nam Digital Transport Company.
