According to the penalty decision, Zacy Cosmetics Co., Ltd. (headquartered at 3A, 6A No. 69 Nguyen Hy Quang Street, Dong Da District, Hanoi) has committed a series of violations of legal regulations in the field of cosmetics.
The enterprise was identified as trading in cosmetics with incomplete labels, not in accordance with regulations, including Bellmona Tea Tree Modeling Mask, with a total value of goods sold up to 15.84 million VND.
In addition, Zacy Cosmetics Co., Ltd. also trades 3 cosmetic products with formulas that are not in accordance with the approved announced dossier, including: 3% Mandelic Acid 3-In-1 Toner, ASAP Radiance Serum, Mandelic Acid 3-In-1 Wash.
In addition, 4 other cosmetic products of the Bellmona brand were also found to have incomplete product information files (PIF) in accordance with legal regulations, violating regulations on quality management and cosmetic safety.
With the above violations, the Drug Administration of Vietnam has fined Zacy Cosmetics Co., Ltd. a total amount of 135 million VND. In which, some acts are subject to aggravating circumstances due to many violating products being inspected at the same time.
In addition to the form of fines, businesses are also subject to remedial measures, including: Forcing the recall and destruction of violating products; Forcing labeling in accordance with regulations before continuing circulation; Forcing the return of 15.84 million VND profited from the sale of violating goods; Proposing to recall the receipt of cosmetic declaration forms for products that do not meet the formula.
Zacy Beauty Co., Ltd. is responsible for completing the remedial measures and reporting the results to the Drug Administration within 30 days from the date the decision takes effect.
According to the Drug Administration of Vietnam, in the past time, functional agencies have strengthened inspections and examinations in the field of cosmetics, especially products circulating on the market with signs of violations of labels, formulas and legal documents.
Consumers are advised to choose cosmetics with clear origins, legally announced, and at the same time promptly report to functional agencies when detecting signs of violations to protect their rights and health.
