The Drug Administration Department decided to administratively sanction HyunJin C&T International Company Limited (address: BT20, TT2 plot, Phung Khoang Urban Area, Hanoi) with a total amount of 113 million VND due to a series of violations in cosmetic business and advertising activities.
According to the decision, this enterprise has traded DESEMBRE DERMA SCIENCE HIGH FREQUENCY CREAM PROFESSIONAL product (receipt number of declaration form 211274/23/CBMP-QLD issued on September 2, 2023) with a formula that is not in accordance with the approved declaration documents; labeling is not in accordance with nature and uses, causing misunderstanding for consumers.
The company also advertised the DESEMBRE OXYJET ELIXIR TREATMENT product on the website beyond the scope of licensed applications in the cosmetic declaration form.
Mr. Ta Manh Hung - Deputy Director of the Department of Drug Administration (Ministry of Health) - said that in addition to the fine, the Department requested the destruction of all DESEMBRE DERMA SCIENCE HIGH FREQUENCY CREAM PROFESSIONAL products, which had their previously announced receipt number revoked; at the same time, forced the goods to be revoked and remove untrue advertising content.
The enterprise must also return the amount of money collected from the violation of more than 16 million VND and report the results of remedial actions to the Department of Drug Administration within 30 days from October 20, 2025.
According to the Department of Drug Administration, this strict handling is to strengthen quality management and transparency in the cosmetic industry, protect consumer rights against false advertising and product advertising that is not true to reality.
