On September 27, Truong Sa island infirmary (under Brigade 146, Naval Region 4) was still providing emergency care to fisherman Nguyen Trung Tin (born in 1992, from Phu My Dong commune, Gia Lai province) who had an accident while fishing in the waters of Truong Sa archipelago.
Previously, during working on fishing boat BD 92529 TS, fisherman Tin fell, hit his face into the ship's hard foundation, causing severe injuries, quadriplegia, sensory disorders and difficulty breathing.

Immediately after being taken to Tay A Island Infirmary for first aid, the patient was in a state of province, in contact with blood pressure of 120/80 mmHg, heart rate of 93 times/minute, SpO2 reached 97%, temperature of 37.8°C, quadriplegia, systemic apnea and urinary tract disorders.
Through online consultation with Military Hospital 175, doctors and nurses determined that the patient had a spinal injury, cervical spine, cervical cord collapse C4-C5, cervical spine edema due to a household accident/ors endometriosis, and hepatitis B. This case needs to be treated actively to prevent serious complications.
The patient was then transferred to the Truong Sa island infirmary. Here, the medical team urgently deployed an in-depth treatment regimen including: IV, anti-inflammation, anti-ellyfield disease, antibiotic use, respiratory control, circulation and close monitoring of nerve, respiratory, and quadriplegia developments.
The patient's health is currently being closely monitored by doctors on the island.
