On May 7, Hoan My Vinh Hospital (Nghe An) announced that it had just successfully performed a cesarean section for pregnant woman L.T.N. (born in 1995, from Ha Nam), gave birth to a baby girl with an entire water bag.
According to doctors, the birth occurred when pregnant at 38 weeks and 6 days. During surgery, the fetus was removed from the mother's body but the amniotic sac had not broken - a condition known as "deck". After that, the doctor proactively ruptured the oil bag to ensure the baby's safety.
Currently, the health of both mother and child is stable and is being monitored at the hospital. It is known that this was the second cesarean section for the mother.
"The baby's womb" is a rare phenomenon, with a rate of about 1/80,000 births. Thick and tough bags of oil prevent the oil film from burst out like usual. The fetus is now completely covered in the lining of the umbilical cord and blood vessels.
Scientifically, this phenomenon does not affect the health of the fetus if handled promptly. According to popular beliefs, "bride-to-be" children are often considered to have good luck, bringing luck to the family.
The family plans to name the child Bao Ngoc - as a message of love and faith in a peaceful future.
