One of the 3 severely burned victims while fighting a forest fire in Dien Bien has died

Dien Bien - Mr. Lo Van N (born 1973) - one of the 3 people who suffered severe burns while participating in forest fire fighting has died.

On the afternoon of April 4, Mr. Pham Giang Nam - Director of the Department of Health of Dien Bien province said that patient Lo Van N (born 1973, residing in residential group 1, Na Sang commune) with degree 2, 3 burns with an area of about 95% of his body, and degree 4 burns on both legs had died.

According to Mr. Nam, at about 11 am on April 4, when transferring 3 patients from the Provincial General Hospital to Hanoi, when arriving in Muong Ang commune, patient Lo Van N's condition worsened.

Although emergency care at Muong Ang Medical Center was coordinated, victim Lo Van N did not survive. Currently, the victim has been taken by specialized vehicle to his family in residential group 1, Na Sang commune for burial according to local customs.

Previously, at about 1:30 pm on April 3, a forest fire occurred in the forest area of residential group 1, Na Sang commune.

During the fire fighting process, 4 people were injured; of which 3 seriously injured people were transferred to the Provincial General Hospital for treatment; 1 patient with minor burns is being treated at Na Sang Medical Center.

In addition to victim Lo Van N, the identities of 2 patients with severe burns are both residing in residential group 1, Na Sang commune, including: Lu Van T (born 1983) with degree 2.3 burns, area damage about 95% of the body and Lo Van B (born 2001) with degree 2.3 burns, area damage about 95% of the body.
