Khanh Hoa - A young man in Khanh Hoa was just promptly rescued after suffering an anaphylactic shock suspected to be due to pepper cake allergy and participating in sports activities.

On the afternoon of March 11, information from Hospital 22-12 (Khanh Hoa) said that the unit had just received and successfully treated a case of anaphylactic shock suspected to be due to food allergies.

According to initial information, before participating in football, the male patient ate banh tieu.

During exercise, the patient begins to show abnormal symptoms such as severe fatigue, discomfort, allergic rash and urticaria in many areas of the body.

After the patient moved home, the condition progressed severely on the way. People around quickly took the patient to Hospital 22-12 for emergency treatment.

At the Emergency Department, doctors determined that the patient had signs of anaphylactic shock, so they urgently treated him according to the treatment protocol.

Thanks to being detected and taken to the hospital in time, the patient's condition was quickly controlled and has now stabilized.

According to doctors, anaphylactic shock is a serious allergic reaction that can occur after eating certain foods, taking medication or being exposed to other allergens.

If not treated promptly, this condition can be life-threatening. Doctors recommend that when symptoms such as urticaria, shortness of breath, dizziness, low blood pressure or fatigue after eating or exposure to allergens appear, patients should quickly go to the nearest medical facility for emergency treatment.

At the same time, it is necessary to be cautious with food allergic reactions, especially avoiding vigorous exercise immediately after eating to limit the risk of dangerous complications.
