On the morning of May 30, although the weather in Hanoi was quite hot, from early morning, the campus of the National Children's Hospital became bustling with the presence of a large number of parents and pediatric patients participating in the program "Day of the Baby - Spreading Love" on the occasion of International Children's Day June 1.

No longer the usual quietness of the hospital, the program area is filled with children's laughter. Many young children, even while being treated, still have needles attached to their hands or carry medical equipment to support them, but are still excited to participate in fun activities with their parents, receive gifts and interact with friends.
For them, this is not just a festival but also an opportunity to temporarily forget the pain and prolonged treatment pressure.
In addition, the experiential play area with statue painting, sand painting, creative collage and many physical games has attracted a large number of sick children to participate. Small gifts but containing love and sharing have helped children have more joy and motivation in their journey to fight against illness.
According to a representative of the National Children's Hospital, the program is an annual activity to care for the spiritual life of pediatric patients being treated. Not only focusing on medical examination and treatment, the hospital also wants to create play spaces, helping children have more beautiful memories during their hospital stay.

In the early summer sun, the innocent smiles of pediatric patients have created a special festival. It is not only the joy of young children but also a great source of encouragement for parents who are accompanying their children every day on the journey to overcome illness.
In addition, the free fair with 24 booths and 12 gift categories including books, toys, teddy bears, backpacks, fresh milk, coloring books... is expected to serve about 2,300 pediatric patients. The experiential play area "Rainbow Playground" with many interactive activities such as painting statues, sand paintings, tearing and pasting, and physical games is also organized to bring relaxing moments to children. The total number of gifts mobilized for the program is up to more than 18,400 products.
Dr. Hoang Minh Phuong, Deputy Director of the National Children's Hospital, said that besides the task of medical examination and treatment, the hospital always focuses on comprehensive care for patients, especially the mental health of children. For pediatric patients who need long-term treatment, especially those with serious illnesses or difficult circumstances, fun activities, exchanges and care and sharing from the community not only bring joy but also become a valuable source of spiritual encouragement.

According to Mr. Phuong, the program "Baby Day - Spreading Love" not only helps children have more complete childhood moments but also contributes to easing stress and anxiety during treatment. The smiles, excitement and joy of the children are a positive energy source, adding strength to both patients and their families, thereby contributing to improving treatment effectiveness and the journey of overcoming illness.
