Financial difficulties weigh on the shoulders of a worker couple
Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong and her husband got married in 2012. After a year of waiting without seeing good news, the couple decided to go to many places for examination. The moment she received the examination results with an ovarian reserve index of only 0.01, Ms. Huong seemed to have collapsed.
The difficulties did not stop there, she also discovered that she was blocked in one of the fallopian tubes, so it was very difficult to conceive naturally. The doctor advised the couple to perform assisted reproductive methods such as: Pumping sperm into the uterine cavity (IUI), in vitro fertilization (IVF).
Ms. Huong's family has been persistent for 3 years, she underwent surgery to drain the fallopian tubes and put their trust in 5 IUI pumping times. However, all efforts have not yet brought the expected results. During those days, tears came more than smiles, but the couple never thought about giving up.
Both Ms. Huong and her husband are workers, and their lives are not very prosperous. At that time, the biggest difficulty for them was not only financial issues, but also the pressure from the surrounding rumors. But in the midst of storms, Ms. Huong's husband is always a solid support for his wife.
"I encourage myself every day, focusing on the positive things. Thanks to him, I feel more confident in continuing on this path of "finding a child" - Ms. Huong confided.
In 2018, hope was lit up again when Ms. Huong and her husband went to the Hanoi Andrology and Infertility Hospital for examination. Ms. Huong's condition is like a difficult problem, causing Dr. Pham Van Huong - Deputy Director of the hospital's expertise - to be extremely concerned.
Sharing about this case, Dr. Huong said: "Due to Huong's low ovarian reserve, the opportunity to create embryos is very vulnerable. But seeing the burning desire of the couple, we can only encourage and give advice and detailed plans to help the family understand the IVF process and implementation".
Finally, a miracle appeared. With two small follicles, the couple had two embryos on day 3.
After transferring fresh embryos, Ms. Huong and her husband lived during the waiting days with a broken heart. On the day of beta HCG testing - early pregnancy diagnosis, the moment they saw the results were good, the couple hugged and cried.
After 6 years of desire, the worker couple has touched their dream of becoming parents.
On March 17, 2019, the moment of the birth of little daughter N.A.D. erased all the hardships and difficulties in the past, bringing light and hope to the family's small family.
More complete joy on April 30
In 2023, when A.D was an adult, Ms. Huong and her husband decided to return to the hospital to continue their journey to welcome a new member, hoping for a miracle to appear. The journey was still full of challenges when Ms. Huong had two follicles and could only create one embryo on day 3.
However, thanks to the support of doctors and the strong faith of the couple, a miracle happened. That small embryo clings to the roots and grows strongly. Happiness smiled on the family when Ms. Huong received the news of her second pregnancy, this is a complete gift from love, perseverance and not giving up.

After a favorable pregnancy, on April 30, 2024 - the 49th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, the boy N.T.D cried and was born. In that sacred moment, Ms. Huong's family not only felt their own happiness, but also joined in the joy of the whole nation.
