Prepare carefully, ready for all options
At the Ba Dinh Ward Health Station (Hanoi), the working atmosphere these days has become more urgent than ever. The on-duty work has been carefully prepared to serve people and tourists participating in the festival, parade, and parade at the upcoming A80 important event.
In particular, medical tents have been set up, ready to receive cases in need of support. The medical team will be on duty 24/7 to ensure timely access and handling of all health emergencies.
Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Khac Du - Deputy Head of Ba Dinh Ward Health Station - said that the human and material plan has been specifically implemented.
"The number of officers on duty each day will be about 40 people. Regarding medicine, chemicals, and equipment, we have prepared everything to serve people during the event days, Mr. Du informed.
According to Mr. Du, the medical team serving the event, including doctors and nurses, have all received professional training on first aid at Xanh Pon General Hospital. The emergency bags are also equipped in accordance with the list of 55 types of drugs and medical supplies according to the instructions of the Department of Health, ensuring that they meet the requirements for on-site first aid.

Dedicated, proud to do the task
Not only preparing carefully in terms of facilities and spirit for the medical team, doctors are always in the highest level of readiness. Doctor Do Cam Tu, working at the Ba Dinh Ward Health Station, could not hide his pride in contributing a part to the country's major event.
"When assigned to serve the A80 tour, we felt very proud and would try our best to complete the work well," Dr. Tu shared.
Talking about the medical treatment process, Dr. Tu said that when someone needs support, the medical team will quickly assess the initial condition such as pulse, temperature, blood pressure. Mild cases such as heatstroke, foreign objects flying into the eyes, or abdominal pain... will be treated on the spot.
"We have received some cases of dust flying into the eyes and have removed foreign objects and provided first aid to wash people's wounds. For more serious cases, after initial first aid to stabilize the situation, we will immediately coordinate to transfer patients to upper-level hospitals," Dr. Tu added.
In addition to emergency work, Ba Dinh ward also pays special attention to ensuring food safety to prevent the risk of mass poisoning.
Mr. Nguyen Khac Du said that the health station has coordinated with the ward's Department of Culture and Society to conduct an inspection and request all food businesses in the area to sign a commitment. The content of the commitment focuses on ensuring food safety and hygiene and not raising prices or forcing tourists to spend money during the event.
