During the waiting time for the flight, doctors of Military Hospital 175 continued to provide remote professional support, guiding Son Ca Island Clinic to closely monitor the patient's neurological, respiratory and hemodynamic conditions according to the agreed protocol.
When approached, the emergency team recorded that the patient was awake and in contact. The emergency team quickly fixed the cervical spine with specialized equipment, pain relief, supported and stabilized the respiratory and hemodynamic conditions, and then transported the patient back to the mainland for continued intensive treatment.
