Phase 1 ready for operation
On June 30, the facility of the Specialized Psychiatric Hospital (Phu Tho neighborhood, Binh Duong ward) is urgently completing phase 1 repair work, to put half of the hospital into operation first.
According to reporters' records, the main building in front of the hospital seems to have put on a new coat. From a degraded abandoned facility, it is now gradually becoming spacious again.
The entire main building of the hospital has been repainted. The ground floor of the building is cleaned, arranged with tables, chairs, and fans. Computer systems and medical equipment are also being installed.
The ground floor of the building is divided into two areas, the medical examination area and the inpatient treatment area. Right at the entrance to the building is the patient reception area and the pharmacy counter has also been redesigned. Guidance information boards at the counter have been installed.
Bringing a team of good doctors to Facility 4
According to the plan, Facility 4 of Ho Chi Minh City Mental Hospital will officially go into operation in phase 1 from July 1, 2026.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, recently, the Ho Chi Minh City Mental Hospital has made efforts in preparing to put the new facility into operation. The hospital's medical staff has proactively registered to participate in work at Facility 4.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health said that according to the plan of the Ho Chi Minh City Mental Hospital, in the initial phase, 48 medical staff will be arranged to work at Facility 4, including doctors, nurses, technicians and support staff. In particular, there are 13 experienced psychiatrists directly involved in medical examination, treatment and patient management at this facility.
