Representatives of the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund have just coordinated with the authorities of Long Ho and Quoi An communes (Vinh Long province) to provide support to 3 characters that have been reported in Lao Dong Newspaper.
The gifts from readers brought joy, encouraged the spirit, helped the characters treat their illnesses and stabilize their lives.
As in the case of Mr. Pham Van Nam (born in 2015, residing in Long Hiep hamlet, Long Ho commune) - the character in the article "Spending care in the late afternoon, the old man often takes care of his sick wife in bed" - has been quietly taking care of his sick wife for many years.
Sending his thanks to readers of Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nam shared that the amount of 9,155,000 VND given directly will help him take care of medicine and daily meals for his wife. Considering this sharing a great source of encouragement, Mr. Nam promised to appreciate and use the precious money that readers have sent for the right purpose.

As for the young man Le Minh Luan, residing in Quoi An commune, the character in the article "26-year-old boy fighting kidney failure, old mother borrowing money from everywhere and selling all of her assets", this is the second time he has received a share from readers of Lao Dong Newspaper.
"Previously, we received support of nearly 28 million VND, now we continue to receive an additional 2,000,000 VND. I would like to thank the readers for their kindness, which is the motivation for me and my children to continue to persevere in the difficult journey ahead," Minh Luan added.
As for the nearly 70-year-old woman in Quoi An commune, the character in the article "disease, collapsed house, the U70-year-old woman still tries to raise two orphaned children to study", she was moved when receiving 1,500,000 VND in support. For her, this is not only a necessary expense but also a warm feeling, adding determination to take care of her children.

Ms. Huynh Thi Hong Tuyet - Secretary, Head of the People's Committee of Long Hiep Hamlet - expressed her appreciation for the sharing of readers from near and far for the difficult circumstances in the area. Although the gifts are not large, they are practical, contributing to helping the poor reduce their hardship.
"We hope that readers will continue to care and accompany so that many other difficult circumstances in the hamlet have more motivation to rise up in life," Ms. Tuyet expressed.
