In recent days, storm No. 3 has devastated and caused severe damage to many provinces and cities in the northern region of our country. Heavy rain and widespread flooding have caused serious damage to people and property.
Currently, many families of workers in particular and people in the Northern provinces in general are in need of support and help to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
With the tradition of solidarity, mutual love "Love others as you love yourself", "The whole leaf covers the torn leaf" of the collective of cadres, workers and employees of the entire Vietnam Chemical Group and the members of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union organized a donation, deducted from the Golden Heart Fund to give gifts worth 60 million VND to workers in the industry and people in the provinces affected by storms and floods.
Mr. Nguyen Huy Thong - Chairman of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union - said: "After storm No. 3, the group's leaders and the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union requested units to urgently implement a number of contents.
Accordingly, the Union has coordinated to propagate and mobilize cadres, workers, civil servants and laborers to donate and support workers in the industry and people in the provinces affected by storms and floods with the support level of 1 day's actual salary. The form of support is in cash or by bank transfer.
In addition, some units have essential products such as detergents, water disinfectants, batteries, etc. for the group's leaders and the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union to visit and give to localities affected by storms and floods.
At the same time, the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union supports families of union members and workers who suffered property damage (roofs blown off, houses swept away by floods, landslides, severely damaged houses...) with a support level of 2 million VND/family.
In addition to the amount of money sent through the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund, the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union also directly and indirectly sends money and donated goods through many different channels.
With the sharing of cadres, workers and union members of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union, we hope to help many people facing difficulties due to the impact of storms and floods.
