The ITF J30 tournament brings together more than 200 players from nearly 20 countries and territories such as Japan, Korea, China, India, Australia, Hungary... Including prominent names such as Shen Jacob Kailiang of Hong Kong (China), Oh Jihyun (Korea), Pantaratorn Dharma (Thailand)...
Vietnamese tennis also has young potential athletes such as Nguyen Minh Phat, Nguyen Dai Khanh, Tran Quoc Cuong...
Athletes compete in 4 categories: Men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles. This is not only an attractive playground but also an opportunity for young players to accumulate bonus points in the ITF U18 world youth rankings.
Within the framework of the tournament, the qualifying matches take place on November 9 and 10, before entering the main round from November 11 to 24.
In which, J30 Ninh Binh - 1 Tournament takes place from November 11 to 17, J30 Ninh Binh - 2 Tournament from November 18 to 24.
This is a tournament for young players, so there is no prize money, instead, the singles champion will receive 30 bonus points; the doubles champion will receive 20 bonus points from the International Tennis Federation (ITF).
In particular, the tournament is also a great opportunity for young Vietnamese athletes to compete and gain experience in international competitions. Participating in such a big tournament will help them improve their skills and gain more confidence when facing strong opponents from many countries, contributing to the development of tennis in Vietnam.
In addition to the sports aspect, during the tournament, Ninh Binh province also organized the 3rd Ninh Binh Festival in 2024 with the theme "Vietnamese Sausage Heritage" - a cultural and tourism event of great significance, contributing to building and positioning the brand of the province's millennium heritage city.
The festival not only promotes the image, culture and people of Ninh Binh but also introduces the rich cultural heritage of regions across the country to international tourists.
