The tournament is co-organized by the Vietnam Tennis Federation (VTF) and Novasports. This is a tournament belonging to the global junior competition system of the International Tennis Federation (ITF), and also a regional qualifying event towards the Australian Open Junior Series, opening up opportunities for outstanding U14 players to win tickets to participate in the international finals - an important stepping stone on the journey to conquer junior Grand Slam tournaments in the future.
The matches will take place at the NovaWorld Phan Thiet international tennis court complex, Lam Dong province. This year's tournament has an impressive scale with nearly 40 countries, more than 150 players participating, taking place in 2 weeks.
In the first week from March 2 to 7, 72 athletes from 18 countries will compete in the women's team event. According to the draw results, the Vietnam U14 women's team - the No. 1 seed is in Group A with Maldives, Macau (China).
After that, 80 athletes from 20 countries will compete in the men's team event from March 9 to 14. Here, Vietnamese players will face opponents from Syria, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia...
With nearly 40 countries participating in two weeks of competition, this is one of the largest-scale youth tennis events in the Asia-Pacific region for the 14U age group, gathering promising talents who are on the path of professionalization.
The Vietnam U14 women's team will be led by coach Nguyen Minh Triet (HCMC), alongside players To Binh Nhien (Ninh Binh), Nguyen Linh Nhi (HCMC) and Mai Khanh Chi (Ninh Binh).

Meanwhile, the Vietnam U14 men's team will be directed by coach Nguyen Cong Thanh (HCMC), alongside players Le Phu Gia (HCMC), Vu Tuan Phong (Hanoi), Nguyen Khac Nguyen (HCMC).
Playing at home in front of the cheers of Vietnamese fans, young players are expected to show bravery, accumulate international experience and aim for new milestones.
Mr. Nguyen Hong Son - Vice President cum General Secretary of the Vietnam Tennis Federation said: "The organization of the ITF World Juniors Competition 14U 2026 - AO Pre-Qualifying Event is an important opportunity for young Vietnamese tennis players to compete and rub shoulders with international opponents right at home. At the same time, this is also a milestone showing the sustainable development of Vietnamese youth tennis in its international integration strategy.
