The Vietnam Tennis Federation (VTF) has just successfully held a Standing Committee Conference in Ho Chi Minh City, to approve a series of tasks in the coming period.

The conference approved the merger of 4 specialized Committees, the completion of 5 members of the Standing Committee, 26 members of the Executive Committee for the 7th term (2022 - 2027). At the same time, supplement and perfect the Executive Committee's operating regulations, creating an effective and substantial operating mechanism for VTFs.

In the first 9 months of 2025, due to competition from many new sports, VTF has made efforts to organize 21 tournaments, including 14 national and international tournaments and 7 amateur tournaments.

In the last 3 months of 2025, the Federation will continue to implement 14 more tournaments (3 national tournaments, 8 international tournaments and 3 grassroots tournaments). The total number of tournaments in 2025 is expected to double compared to the same period in previous years.

In 2026, VTF will coordinate with potential units and clubs nationwide to organize more than 60 tournaments (more than 50 national and international tournaments; 10 grassroots tournaments), while strengthening cooperation with 34 localities after the merger to promote the movement nationwide.

Notable professional marks in the past 9 months are the young force of the Vietnam Tennis Team successfully staying in the Davis Cup Group III; young tennis player Le Tien Anh won the championship of the Roland Garros Junior Series by Renault Qualifiers, along with many impressive results of the youth teams in the international arena.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Ky - Chairman of VTF emphasized: "In addition to organizing many high-class international tournaments such as ATP Challenger, M15, W15..., VTF will focus on training coaches and referees at all levels, while creating conditions for potential young athletes to train and compete abroad".

With the promotion of international relations with prestigious organizations such as the ITF, ATF... and the support of strong clubs and businesses, the Vietnam Tennis Federation expects tennis to make great strides, bearing outstanding sports in the coming time, contributing to promoting the image of Vietnamese tennis to develop more and more sustainably.
