On July 6 (Moscow time), according to TASS, Polish Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz said that Poland had transferred to Ukraine weapons and military equipment worth 16.4 billion zlotys (about 4.5 billion USD) since February 2022.
According to the head of the Polish Ministry of Defense, most of the military aid was transferred in the period 2022 - 2023 under the government led by the Law and Justice Party.
The total value of aid in this period reached 14.9 billion zlotys (about 4.1 billion USD).
The current government has continued to provide an additional 1.5 billion zloty (about 400 million USD) of weapons and military equipment to Kiev.
Mr. Kosiniak-Kamysz also for the first time confirmed that Poland has transferred Patriot air defense missile systems to Ukraine.

According to him, this decision was made after NATO and the US European Command (EUCOM) proposed that countries operating Patriot coordinate to support Kiev.
Based on the proposal and request of the NATO Secretary General as well as the US European Command, after consulting with the group of countries using Patriot, we decided to transfer Patriot missiles to Ukraine," the Polish Minister of Defense said.
He emphasized that the number of missiles transferred is still within Poland's capabilities and does not affect the country's air defense capabilities.
The information was released just one day after the Polish Minister of Defense decided to declassify data related to military aid to Ukraine.
This move comes as many opposition politicians and some members of President Karol Nawrocki's apparatus accuse the government of secretly transferring Patriot missiles to Kiev without full disclosure.
The public disclosure of aid value also shows that Poland continues to be one of the largest military supporting countries for Ukraine since the conflict broke out.
In recent years, Warsaw has repeatedly transferred tanks, self-propelled artillery, armored vehicles, ammunition, air defense systems and many other types of military equipment to Kiev.
Poland is also one of NATO's important logistics centers in transporting military aid from the West to Ukraine.
