The boy, estimated to be around 13, was spotted wandering on the runway near the plane crash site shortly after landing on the morning of September 20 (local time), according to the Central Industrial Security Force of India.
After questioning, authorities determined that he was from Kunduz, Northern Afghanistan, and made the trip by hiding in the back half of the flights of a KAM Airline plane.
Investigators also found a small red loudspeaker in the area where the boy was hiding. He was repatriated to Afghanistan that same day.
The distance between Kabul ( Af Af Af Af Khanistan) and New Delhi (India) is about 1,000km, the flight takes about 1 hour and a half.
Hiding in the wheelchair of an air personality is the most common way that smugglers often go to, even though it is extremely dangerous.
According to the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in 2019, more than 77% of people who have tried to smuggle airplanes in this way have died.
Many people were crushed as they landed in the autumn, because the space was extremely limited. In many types of aircraft, the empty space is even smaller than the trunk of a car.
When the plane goes up, the conditions become more severe, the oxygen level drops, making it difficult for the victim to stay conscious. The temperature outside the plane also dropped sharply, putting them at risk of numbness or even hypothermia.
