On September 16, the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said that Swiss International Air Lines flight No. 55 departing from Logan International Airport in Boston had been canceled at around 10:25 p.m. (local time) due to an motor problems.
The video circulating on social media shows the Airbus A330-300 starting to accelerate when engine No. 2 suddenly caught fire, caught fire and caused a loud explosion. Immediately after that, a stream of smoke issued from the back of the plane.

Data from FlightAware shows that the flight to Zurich took off again from Logan airport at nearly 11am (local time) on September 16, but it is unclear whether it was the crashed plane or another replacement.
Swiss International Air Lines did not immediately respond.
